Chris Ford, head of employer services, Legal & General will be speaking about how to avoid absenteeism issues in the workplace at WITW.
Recent CIPD research shows that one in three employees have experienced mental health issues, almost half of them within the last years. This has become an increasing challenge for organizations of all sizes.
However, often, employers have access to more support than they realise. Companies will regularly have information and advice available at hand but they are either unaware of the resources or underutilising them.
Reward’s Wellbeing in the Workplace will have Chris Ford, head of employer services, Legal and General, speak about how better engagement with providers of existing benefits can allow employers to better understand what’s available to them.
This session at 10:10am will look at benefits such as group risk protection and explore how it can help to reduce the length and costs of absence associated with mental health issues.
From physical wellbeing, fitness and rehabilitation to mental wellbeing and stress, or even financial wellbeing of employees, Reward’s WITW will have case studies and expert speakers who will provide an insight into creating a strategy that will meet the needs of all your workforce.
Wellbeing in the Workplace takes place on 28th September 2016 at The Lowry in Manchester. To register to attend, CLICK HERE.
