Google introduces a new feature, giving everyone their own PA.

Google’s new tool has added a feature to the calendar that transforms the personal organiser in to an organiser, life coach and assistant. It also has a goals category that allows users to set themselves personal targets. Google then schedules them to fit in around other activities already set.

This new feature allows users to let Google know what they want to do, i.e. run three times a week.

Jyoti Ramnath, product manager at Google, says: 'With all the things you need to do in a given week, it’s probably harder than ever to find the time - even when your goal really matters to you.

'Calendar actually gets better at scheduling the more you use it. Just defer, edit or complete your goals like normal, and Calendar will choose even better times in the future.'

The thought behind the initiative is to help users utilise their time better and help with organisation. It is the latest update to aid time-keeping and it appears technology giants such as Google, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Google are all competing to create the best personal assistant.

Additionally, alongside the Google Now voice feature, they are also developing their search services and apps in order to be more helpful for users. The new tool is available on iOS and Android.
